Local Tales
Local Tales is an AR History app for users to learn about their town’s local history through stories told by people in their local area. Local Tales aims to build communities of like-minded people who discover local history together.
Brand Collabs
Local Tales works with local museums and galleries such as the National Trust, Poole Lifeboat Museum and Poole Museum. They will post specialist local history stories which will help to promote them and the app itself. Local Tales will work with these organizations to create specialist AR filters.
Touchpoints
In-person marketing will be used to promote the app, transforming spaces into physical branding (example story: Mum’s bench). There will be posters within the local areas specific to the town’s local history, highlighting local figures.
