Journey Safe
Journey Safe is a new scheme in collaboration with Ring. Available across TFL services, on-hand assistance is available to travellers across London. Ring for help when you feel in danger and use the Journey Safe App to plan your safest journey which provides regular updates from the team.
Scheme
55% of women and 21% of men have experienced harassment or assault on public transport in London. Yet, TFL aren't doing enough to prevent this. JourneySafe is a new scheme in collaboration with Ring aiming to help passengers safely travel around London.
Campaign
The campaign shows TFL taking ownership of the safety of their passengers ‘ring for help’ and ‘your journey is safe with us’. This contrasts with previous advice of ‘see it, say it, report it’ which sees the reliance of passengers to report such crimes.
